album review: songs I wrote with amy... ed sheeran

Return to the origins of Ed Sheeran with...

No, I'm kidding. Whatever musical origins Ed Sheeran has I am quite unaware of. What I am aware of is Ed's crazy talent, unique charm and the heart he puts into every song.

'Songs I Wrote With Amy' is the perfect album for a lovely morning or rainy day sipping tea and snuggling or cuddling, whichever you prefer. Ed Sheeran's raw voice in this album resonates in your mind long after the track has finished.

There's such a romantic notion to all his songs that's impossible to resist. No more how bitter you're feeling, they never lose their strange ability to pull you under and drown you in Ed's calming, clean voice.

Cold Coffee is definitely my favourite song on the album (gratitudes to the users on 8tracks who love adding this song to their playlist).

It breaks my heart as much as it makes me close my eyes and smile.
Though an early album of Ed's, its definitely worth giving a listen! Click here for a playlist of the album.

Over and out

  1. Love this album so much! I became obsessed with it for months a while back but think it's about time to give it a listen again, Ed Sheeran's voice and lyrics are charming!
